The project aims to provide an opportunity for students to make change in their school and community, as ambassadors of gender equality, through art and awareness activities. These activities are implemented in Has & Kukes and Diber Regions which are located in North of Albania. In these selected project areas, the cultural, social, gender and religious norms are socially discriminatory practices that often marginalize women and girls.

This project engaged around 200 students from High Schools in three selected project areas in Albania, in a series of workshops on the importance of equality for women, as well as on the role that young people can have as change makers in the community. Students will be supported to develop their own activities to raise awareness through art (essays, pictures, slogans, video, play theatre etc).
