The goal of this project is to strengthen the capacity of the local stakeholders to address the issues of radicalisation and violent extremism and advocate in the Security Local Council meetings in Librazhd Municipality.

We developed tailor-made training activities with local stakeholders involved, considering their specific local needs focused on, legal framework in Albania dealing with terrorism and violent extremism; the role of the media in informing and raising awareness on the violent extremism issues; reintegration approach and basic local services for risk groups and returnees; understanding the role of gender in preventing violent extremism and the importance of civil society to advocate about violent extremism.
